The Coyotes’ road-rampage is finally over, but how did they end up in the playoffs?

The Coyotes were a complete mess before the playoffs, as a result of injuries, the Wild being a juggernaut, and a bunch of other factors.

It’s now time to take a closer look at how they did it, and how they can improve next year.

The Coyotes had some injuries, too.

Forward Brandon Bollig missed all but one game because of a broken bone in his foot, and defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson missed his second straight game because he suffered a concussion.

But the Coyotes still had a good team, and they won the Stanley Cup, a championship that was awarded to the Colorado Avalanche at the end of March.

Arizona won the Cup in 2012, but the team hasn’t won a Stanley Cup since.

It won’t be the last time the Coyotes will win the Stanley Cups.
